Spring 2010 Registration You can register your child for the spring 2010 season of the Rolla Area Youth Soccer League either at one of the two walk-in registrations or by mail. Details are given below. Walk-In Registration Walk-in registration will be held on Saturday, February 20 and Saturday, February 27 from 10 am to 2 pm in the Mark Twain Elementary School cafeteria (old gym). The registration fee is $35. Please bring a photocopy of your child’s birth certificate if you have not submitted one previously. Players without a birth certificate on file will not be placed on a team. Mail-In Registration Mail-in registrations should be sent to: RAYSL Spring 2010 Registration P.O. Box 1515 Rolla, MO 65402. Registrations must include a completed and signed Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) membership form, a $35 check payable to RAYSL, and a photocopy of your child’s birth certificate (if one has not previously been submitted). Click here to download a mebership form. Please indicate your child’s gender and T-shirt size on form. Sizes run small. If your child played in fall 2009, then the jersey he/she received for that season will also serve as the spring 2010 uniform. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked no later than Friday, March 5, 2010. Registrations postmarked after March 5 are considered late and must include an additional $7 late fee. Late registrants are not guaranteed roster spots and will be placed on a team only if vacancies exist. No registrations postmarked after Friday, March 12 will be accepted.ugh mail or register at one of o Teams The teams that were formed for the fall 2009 season will stay together for the spring 2010 season. Vacancies will be filled with new registrants. To ensure fairness, League Commissioners randomly assign each new player to a team. Coaches are provided team rosters and player contact information. Coaches will contact team members to provide with practice and game information. Coaches are responsible for deciding practice times. There are no RAYSL restrictions limiting the number of practice sessions per week or the length of each practice session. Two practices per week of 60 – 90 minutes duration are recommended. All players should be contacted by their coach at least one week before the first scheduled game date. The first game date is April 10, 2010.
